The team at Norfolk Quay Heading have been working on the Broads for many years. From piling, boardwalks, jetty's and dredging.
There are several options when it comes quay heading.
Our team specialises in timber.
Timber quay heading tends to be replaced every 10 - 15 years
We work slightly different to most. We will meet with you in person and carry out a quotation, within a time that suites you. We will then send over a full written quotation outlining your requirements within 48 hours.
If you are happy with the quotation, we will then email you a schedule of works with the agreed start date. Including insurances, etc.
If we require a work permit we will apply for this and email you a copy once received.
Regardless of weather conditions, rain, sleet, or snow we will always complete on the agreed completion day.
That being said, we always prefer to work in the sun.
When choosing to have your quay heading replaced you are not only faced with which material to use but also to have your old quay heading removed or your new quay heading pilled in front. The majority of customers opt to have the quay heading pilled in front of the existing quay heading at a typical distance of 10cm to 50cm. The downside to this is that it reduces the width of the river, mooring, dyke.
We at Norfolk Quay Heading can accommodate both options.
We also offer dredging. Using our purpose built dredging machine means we can dredge to a depth of 4 meters. With the silt removal from your mooring, dyke, boat yard etc.
We can leave it on land to help raise your plot or alliteratively we can remove it from site on our barge.
We love our customers, so feel free to call and we can visit you at your property
